What makes my work so rewarding is that I can use my experience to help Vietnamese engineers reach their true potential. I must say that people in Vietnam are truly smart and talented.
I started my career as a fresher in Orient 6 years ago. Currently, I’m a technical lead and manage a team of 20 members. During this period, I have had a chance to develop myself to become a full-stack developer and technical lead.
My main responsibility is to manage several functions related to performance and security. I am in charge of building the software architecture, reducing risks and bugs, and enhancing collaboration. In addition to my key tasks, I often review to improve the architecture in a system, and to support co-workers.
I experienced that Orient focuses on growing talents, and aligns HR practices and excellent execution.
My initial position was to develop iOS native applications. After 4 years in Orient, I have challenged myself in different projects and clients. That means, I have improved my skills set including web applications, back-end, front-end technologies, and other programming languages. Then I moved up to be a Scrum master. I enjoy working on my current project with full responsibilities from communicating with the client, identifying needs and requirements, and fostering team members’ self-organization.
